With our CAD design team, traditional carpenters and metalwork team along with our partners in lighting, CAM, printing and video/photography production we can offer clients a diverse range of interior, television and commercial set, stage and furniture solutions.
Space Craft also offers a niche service to marketing and branding campaigns, designing and manufacturing solutions for experiential marketing and activations.
Space Craft's client list include blue-chip brands such as SAB, Telkom, Vodacom and Hamley’s Toys as well as the SABC, M-NET, e-tv and MTV.
About Our Studio
Our Team
Owner and head designer
Sean obtained a BA Honours from AFDA in film production design in 2001 and has 14 years experience in the film and TV industry. He worked on countless music videos, Commercials, TV shows and Theatrical set before starting Space Craft in 2009. He has since designed a multitude of sets and enjoys a spectrum of return clientele.
Co-owner and prod designer
Esme became the co-owner of Spacecraft in 2015. With a background in fashion design, she started out in the film industry as an Art Department and wardrobe assistant, working her way up to becoming a fully-fledged Art Director. She has worked on a range of TV series, sitcoms, TV commercials and full-length feature films such as Leading Lady and Catching Feelings.
Production Manager
Masala has been with Space Craft since its inception. Over the years he has familiarised himself with every aspect of the day-to-day running of the company. Masala is in charge of production and team management as well as set installation and de-rigs
General Manager (RSA)
Safda (best local film art direction) awards winner Charlette Coetzee
runs the mother ship in SA. With 11 years media experience in film Charlette originally specialized in Prosthetics at university. Charlettes even temperament and problem-solvingskill set make her the perfect go to person in SA,

Petri Strydoms background in architecture and film makes him uniquely qualified to man the design
division in Johannesburg.
His experience with big budget projects such as District 9 and Troy, fall of a city and real-world architectural experience makes him invaluable to the team!
Executive Administrator
Zima graduated from Central University of Technology in 2013
and joined Space Craft in 2015. She handles all of spacecrafts admin.

With over 40 years experience in running business accounts. Marian is one of the #spacecrafts unsung heroes. With a deep sense of Integrity, creativity, a strong work ethic and a healthy dose of humility Marian keeps us on the straight and narrow.
